But even for the few days which experience bad weather, when the sun just doesn’t want to show or if you are looking for an alternative to the many outdoor activities in the Val Martello  / Martelltal Valley, you will find a great deal of other leisure opportunities.

For instance, take a day to visit the Water Park Aquaforum in Laces / Latsch. The Aquaforum ideally complements the wellness area of Berry Hotel Bergfrieden and offers visitors a great deal of watery fun. Or try the Climbing Hall Martello / Martell in the Trattla Recreational Center. There, you can try one of 60 climbing tours ranging from easy to difficult. In fact, the entire Recreational Center Trattla is well worth a visit. Besides the climbing hall you will also find a fitness studio, a natural bowling alley, two automatic bowling alleys, two tennis courts, and a bocce court, as well as miniature golf and a fantastic playground for children.

For all climbing enthusiasts a visit to the Forest Rope Garden Lasa Alliz and Ötzi Rope Park in the Val Senales / Schnallstal Valley are also recommended along with the climbing hall in the Recreational Center Trattla.

A true climbing highlight in the South Tyrolean Val Martello / Martelltal Valley is located inside the Recreational Center Trattla. The Climbing Hall Martello / Martell opened in 1994 and was completely modernized and extended in 2007. Today climbers can try one of 60 climbing routes in the 300sqm plus hall with levels of difficulty ranging between 4A and 8A.
